”I have always believed in the healing power of music. When I returned from Rwanda after witnessing the horrific genocide that left a million people dead in the face of the criminal indifference of the so-called "world community", it was music that saved me. Now I find myself in New York, witnessing another tragedy of incalculable proportions. This modest homage to Manu Dibango, one of the greatest musicians of our times, is an attempt to heal, again, with music, in these dark times. I can’t go on. I’ll go on.”
